The focus of Microfarm's workshop is to show
that one can use a low-cost, low-tech system to provide food
for the table and an income, raising legal, high-value
crops. This growing method offers water savings and reduces
fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide usage. Done correctly,
hydroponics can be a way to help save the small-scale family
farm by making it profitable.
Federal restrictions forbid the growing
of any illegal crops, by any method, for any reason. If your
interest in hydroponics relates to any illegal crops, please
do not sign up for these workshops.
